Teacher Advisory Board
The National Constitution Center’s Teacher Advisory Board (TAB) is a select cohort of educators invited to serve as champions for our educational initiatives and as key advisors to NCC’s Education team. These skilled educators inform the National Constitution Center’s efforts to better educate students on the Constitution using high-quality, nonpartisan, effective classroom materials and instruction.
TAB members dedicate their time to a variety of important initiatives, such as:
- Developing and evaluating educational materials based on the National Constitution Center’s non-partisan educational framework
- Shaping outreach and communication with teachers across the country to share experiences, lesson ideas, and beneficial classroom practices and resources
- Facilitating educator institutes, conference sessions, and professional learning sessions as representatives of or in partnership with the Center
- Creating training materials to empower other members of the Center’s educator networks to facilitate programs and present sessions on the Center’s behalf
Members of the Teacher Advisory Board are invited annually from our Teacher Advisory Council (TAC) and receive a yearly stipend for their valuable time and professional advice.
