Learning with NCCed: Protocol Edition

The Learning with NCCed: Protocol Edition series offers educators across the country a powerful and practical opportunity to explore classroom-ready instructional protocols designed to bring the National Constitution Center’s educational framework to life. Spanning the 2025–2026 school year, each session highlights signature NCC protocols, aligned to key themes in civic education.
Educators will engage directly with curated primary sources and model how each protocol can be used to foster student voice, historical thinking, and classroom conversations about constitutional principles.
Throughout the year, participants will:
- Learn how to apply the National Constitution Center’s protocols to deepen classroom engagement.
- Make clear connections between instructional practices and the National Constitution Center’s educational framework.
- Strengthen their ability to lead conversations rooted in constitutional inquiry, civil dialogue, and student-centered learning.
Whether new to the National Constitution Center or a returning educator, this series equips participants with meaningful tools and a supportive community to elevate their teaching of constitutional and historical topics.
This special programming is free of charge and can be attended as an entire series or as individual sessions. Prepare to engage in an hour-long session beginning at 7 p.m. ET on Zoom. We look forward to you joining us!
