Learning With the NCC
The Learning With the NCC: Resource Edition series offers educators across the country an engaging and practical opportunity to explore resources designed to bring the National Constitution Center’s Educational Framework to life. Spanning the 2026-2027 school year, each session highlights signature NCC resources, aligned to key themes in civic education.
Educators will engage directly with curated primary sources and model how each resource can be used to foster storytelling, constitutional thinking, and classroom conversations about constitutional principles.
Throughout the year, participants will:
- Learn how to apply the National Constitution Center's resources to deepen classroom engagement.
- Make clear connections between instructional practices and the National Constitution Center’s Educational Framework.
- Strengthen their ability to lead conversations rooted in constitutional inquiry, civil dialogue, and student-centered learning.
Whether new to the National Constitution Center or a returning educator, this series equips participants with meaningful tools and a supportive community to elevate their teaching of Constitutional and historical topics.
This special programming is free of charge and can be attended as an entire series or as individual sessions. Prepare to engage in an hour-long session beginning at 7 p.m. ET on Zoom. We look forward to you joining us!

During this introductory session, educators will get an overview of the newer NCC resources: The Interactive Declaration of Independence and Constitution in the Headlines. Participants will explore ways they can use these two resources to talk about the legacy of the Declaration of Independence at the 250th and beyond.

This session highlights one of the National Constitution Center’s foundational resources, the Interactive Constitution. Educators will walk through the resource, highlighting key ways they can use to bring a variety of scholar perspectives into their classrooms and promote civil dialogue about the ways the Constitution has been interpreted.

Learning With the NCC: The Founders’ Library

This month’s focus will get educators to engage with primary sources from the Founders’ Library, helping teachers implement constitutional thinking skills into their practice. Educators will get an overview of the resource, discuss its nonpartisan curation, and use a central text to practice classroom application in real time.

Learning With the NCC: Museum Interactives

This session is all about bringing the museum to your classrooms. Educators will explore the museum interactives from our exhibitions, made available on our website so you can access form anywhere. Participants will explore interactives connected to key themes and questions from the Center’s exhibits, including the Religion Table, which invites users to examine Supreme Court cases interpreting religious liberty; Federalists vs. Anti-Federalists, where users weigh arguments for and against the proposed Constitution and decide where they stand; and Office Holders by the Numbers, which highlights the stories of African American men who held political office during Reconstruction.

Learning With the NCC: Supreme Court Cases Library

This session takes a deep dive into the Supreme Court Cases Library. Educators will learn about the ways this resource can be used in their classrooms to support instruction on constitutional interpretation and the judicial branch. They will see a model of what it could look like to use a Supreme Court case in their teaching practice.
Learning With the NCC: Curricular Resources

In the series finale, educators will close out these sessions by exploring the curricular courses the Center has to offer. With Constitution 101 as the anchor curriculum, the NCC is excited to bring new curricula to middle and high school students across the country on other topics such as Civic Virtue and the Fourth Amendment. This session will deep dive into the curriculum we currently have and share exciting updates for other offerings being curated to bring the Constitution into classrooms.
