Celebrating Our National Parks

Join the National Constitution Center as we celebrate National Park Week with our neighbors at Independence National Historical Park! This program will feature a live virtual tour from the second floor of Independence Hall, guided by a park ranger who will be joined by an NCC educator. Located just upstairs from where the Second Continental Congress and the Constitutional Convention met, this space holds stories from the British occupation of Philadelphia during the Revolutionary War to Charles Willson Peale’s Philadelphia Museum, the first of its kind in America.

Live from the Museum: Debates at the Constitutional Convention
Join museum educator Brian Krisch for a tour of Signers’ Hall, the iconic exhibit featuring life-size statues of the 42 men who gathered in Philadelphia for the signing of the Constitution on September 17, 1787. He’ll guide you through that historic year as we explore the events that led up to the Constitutional Convention, the debates between the delegates, and the compromises that led to the Constitution.
