Philadelphia, PA — February 19, 2026. In response to reporting, the National Constitution Center issued the following statement:

"We stand by our original statements from January 12, 2026, regarding the leadership transition at the National Constitution Center. Further, the NCC and its leadership want to be unequivocally clear that politics of any kind did not play a role in this or any other business of the Center. We all look forward to the celebration of 250 years of American independence and plan to work together to promote the NCC’s non-partisan programming in support of this celebration."
