Resolved: The Second Amendment Protects the Individual’s Right to Own and Carry a Gun

This event took place at  the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington Street, Chicago, IL.

Participants debated whether or not the Supreme Court got it right when it ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to own a handgun.

Professor Michael O'Shea of the Oklahoma City University School of Law argued in favor of the resolution. Professor Carl T. Bogus of the Roger Williams University School of Law will argued against the resolution. Jeffrey Rosen, President and CEO of the National Constitution Center, moderated.
