The National Constitution Center previews the Supreme Court’s 2026-2027 term. Masha Hansford, partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell, Amy Howe, co-founder of SCOTUSblog, and Greg Stohr, Supreme Court reporter for Bloomberg News, join to break down the biggest cases on the docket, unpack the constitutional questions at stake, and explore the issues that could have the biggest impact on the Court in the year ahead. Tom Donnelly, lead scholar at the National Constitution Center, moderates.

Masha Hansford is a partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell. A former assistant to the solicitor general at the Department of Justice, she has extensive experience advocating before the U.S. Supreme Court and federal courts of appeals. In 2025, during her tenure at the Department of Justice, Masha received the Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service.
Amy Howe is the co-founder of SCOTUSblog and its primary reporter. She was part of the blog team that won a Peabody Award in 2013, as well as a National Press Club Journalism Award for Breaking News.
Greg Stohr is an award-winning journalist who has covered the U.S. Supreme Court for Bloomberg News since 1998. He is an adjunct professor at George Washington University Law School.
Tom Donnelly is lead scholar at the National Constitution Center and a law professor at the University of Richmond. Prior to joining the Center in 2016, he served as counsel at the Constitutional Accountability Center, as a Climenko Fellow and lecturer on law at Harvard Law School, and as a law clerk for Judge Thomas Ambro on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
