Vince Stango is the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the National Constitution Center. Mr. Stango is responsible for driving the implementation of the president and CEO’s vision and the organizational strategy developed with the board of trustees, leading the financial performance of the organization, overseeing board governance, and managing the day-to-day operations of the Center, including directing the work of the Center’s 100 employees.
Mr. Stango has served the Center in various capacities for over two decades, and also steered the Center as interim president and CEO from 2012 to 2013, while working closely with the board of trustees to appoint a successor for the position. Mr. Stango received master’s degrees in both public administration and human resource development from Villanova University and his undergraduate degree from Moravian University. Mr. Stango has served on numerous civic and community-based boards and has guest lectured and taught graduate-level courses in fundraising, visitor experience, and museum governance. Mr. Stango currently sits on the advisory council of Villanova University’s Albert Lepage Center for History in the Public Interest.
