Aileen McQuillen is the vice president of marketing at the National Constitution Center, where she leads the strategy and execution of integrated marketing initiatives that advance the Center’s institutional priorities. She oversees multi-channel marketing campaigns that expand national audience reach, strengthen brand awareness, and deepen engagement with educators, students, families, and lifelong learners, advancing the Center’s mission of increasing understanding of the U.S. Constitution through nonpartisan civic education.
McQuillen is an experienced marketing strategist with more than a decade of experience leading brand, digital, and audience growth initiatives for mission-driven organizations. She specializes in integrated marketing strategy, digital advertising, content marketing, CRM infrastructure development, and product marketing, helping organizations translate complex ideas into compelling campaigns that drive measurable engagement and impact.
Prior to joining the National Constitution Center, McQuillen served as director of marketing at iCivics from 2019 to 2024, where she led national marketing strategy for the organization’s expanding portfolio of civic education resources, professional learning programs, and digital products. During her tenure, she built and led the organization’s marketing function, helped strengthen iCivics’ reach among educators nationwide, and led the organization’s comprehensive rebrand, overseeing the implementation of a new visual identity across all marketing and digital channels.
Before joining iCivics, McQuillen worked at Media Cause, a digital marketing agency serving nonprofit organizations, where she partnered with clients including the Natural Resources Defense Council, Year Up, and the Brennan Center for Justice to develop digital media strategies. Earlier in her career, she led social media strategy and integrated marketing campaigns at Facing History and Ourselves, and she began her career at a Boston-based media agency developing content marketing strategies for nonprofit and corporate clients.
McQuillen graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, and international affairs. She also holds the Professional Certified Marketer® (PCM®) credential from the American Marketing Association.
