Larry Kent is the founding partner of Kent & Kent, a private investment firm. He is the founder and former Chairman of GENEX, a leading disability services company, which he sold in 1994. Prior to that, he founded and served as President of General Rehabilitation Services, a workers’ compensation management company that merged with General Care Review to form GENEX in 1993.
Larry has served on the Board of Directors of the Kimmel Center, Chartwell Advisory Group, General Healthcare Resources, and the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Commission. He has also served as a board member for Dickinson College, Kinetikos Medical, Lights of Liberty, the MBF Center, Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School, and Adoptions from the Heart. He is Trustee Emeriti at the National Constitution Center and former Chairman of its Executive Committee.
Larry received a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas. He and his wife, Mary, have four children and reside in Haverford, Pennsylvania. Together, he and Mary oversee the Kent Foundation, which awards gifts to nonprofits in the Philadelphia area and nationwide.
