Jennifer G. Newstead is senior vice president and general counsel at Apple, where she oversees global legal matters and serves on the executive team.
Previously, she was chief legal officer at Meta and held senior roles in the U.S. government, including legal adviser at the State Department, general counsel of the Office of Management and Budget, principal deputy assistant attorney general at the Department of Justice, and associate White House counsel. She was also a partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. Newstead holds degrees from Harvard University and Yale Law School and clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer.
