On Saturday, June 13, from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m., the National Constitution Center will transform into Civic Quest—an immersive, museum-wide takeover that turns the Center into an adventure. This full-scale version of the Civic Quest game will be brought to life with live reenactors, hands-on missions, and interactive environments, inviting kids and caregivers to crack codes, meet key historical figures, and discover how big ideas and teamwork helped shape America.

Families will work side by side during this fun and immersive day to uncover how big ideas helped shape America and practice the same civic skills used by early Americans: listening to different perspectives, asking questions, and solving problems together. Your Civic Quest will take 1-2 hours— after that, spend the rest of your visit exploring the Center’s exhibits.

By learning and exploring together, families help to build habits that foster curiosity, confidence, and a sense of responsibility that support lifelong civic learning and engagement to help sustain our constitutional democracy. While Civic Quest missions are best suited for ages 7+, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
