Kick off Independence Week during America’s 250th with a special edition of historically themed Quizzo and patriotic prizes celebrating the people, ideas, and moments that shaped the American story.

Experience special museum programming and enjoy exclusive access to the Center’s galleries, including our two new galleries, America’s Founding and Governing the Nation.

A cash bar will be available for guests over 21.

Enjoy a special edition of historically themed Quizzo and patriotic prizes celebrating the people, ideas, and moments that shaped the American story. Entry to the trivia contest is free and open to all ages.

Experience this 360-degree live theatrical production telling the story of the U.S. Constitution and the American quest for freedom.

Revolutionary Philadelphia Artifact Cart

5-8 p.m., Kenneth C. Griffin Great Hall
As land was cleared to build the National Constitution Center, archaeologists uncovered thousands of artifacts from the 1700s. In this hands-on tactile experience, explore 3D printed replicas and learn about the everyday lives of “We the People” as the new nation developed just blocks away.

Artifact Spotlight: The Declaration of Sentiments

6 p.m. and 7 p.m., The 19th Amendment: How Women Won the Vote gallery
Step back to Seneca Falls in 1848, where nearly 300 activists gathered for the first women’s rights convention in American history. Discover how Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott, and others drew inspiration from the Declaration of Independence to launch the movement for women’s suffrage.

Reeling in a New Government

6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., America’s Founding gallery
Discover how the framers spent their summer recess during the Constitutional Convention of 1787, including how members of the Committee of Detail used the break to draft the first version of the Constitution. You can also see George Washington’s fishing tackle box and explore how delegates balanced debate, work, and daily life during this pivotal moment in American history.

There’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Kids and families can experience special performances of Schoolhouse Rock Live!, face painting, meet-and-greets with historical reenactors, colonial-era games, a Revolutionary War encampment, and the Center’s interactive exhibits. Visitors of all ages can also take part in signature summer events, including Wawa Hoagie Day; the Red, White, & Blue To-Do; and the 38th annual Liberty Medal honoring Pope Leo XIV.
