Join National Association of Attorneys General President and Montana Attorney General Tim Fox and New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal for an online, bipartisan discussion about the role and function of state attorneys general in the coronavirus crisis. The conversation explores how states are addressing a variety of legal issues relating to the crisis, including religious freedom, the Second Amendment, and criminal justice. Jeffrey Rosen, president and CEO of the National Constitution Center, moderates.

- Tim Fox is the Attorney General for the State of Montana, having been elected in 2012 and reelected in 2016. He is also the President of the National Association of Attorneys General. Prior to his election to office, he served as a law clerk to Associate Justice L.C. Gulbrandson of the Montana Supreme Court and practiced law with the Billings, Montana law firm of Moulton, Bellingham & Longo. He first entered public service in 1990 when recruited to develop a new environmental regulatory program for the Montana Board of Oil and Gas Conservation.
- Gurbir S. Grewal is the Attorney General for the State of New Jersey. Prior to his selection as New Jersey attorney general, Grewal served as Bergen County prosecutor, as an assistant U.S. attorney (AUSA) in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the district of New Jersey, and as an AUSA in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. In addition to his work as a federal prosecutor, Grewal has also worked in private practice, including at Howrey LLP.
- Jeffrey Rosen is the president and CEO of the National Constitution Center, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization devoted to educating the public about the U.S. Constitution. Rosen is also professor of law at The George Washington University Law School and a contributing editor of The Atlantic.
