Daily Programs at the National Constitution Center
Our staff and volunteers are ready to enhance your visit to the Center with educational programs and activities designed to bring constitutional topics to life. These programs are free with museum admission and do not require advanced registration, but will vary daily, so visitors are encouraged to pick up a copy of our daily program guide upon arrival for that day’s offerings.

Artifact Spotlight: 54th Massachusetts Regiment
Civil War and Reconstruction: The Battle for Freedom and Equality;

Join us for an inside look at the experiences of the soldiers who served in the 54th Massachusetts Regiment. We’ll look at special artifacts from this newly founded fighting force.
Delano Grape Strike Artifact Chat

Join us to learn about Cesar Chavez, and the coalition of Filipino and Mexican workers who went on strike for better wages and conditions. The group gained national support for their cause as they exercised their First Amendment rights, including the right to assemble, leading a peaceful march across nearly 300 miles.
Speaking Out with the Suffragists: Nina Otero-Warren

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, join us in The 19th Amendment: How Women Won the Vote to learn about Adelina ‘Nina’ Otero-Warren, the first woman government official in New Mexico and a key figure in the fight for the amendment's ratification.

Constitutional Trivia Game
Step right up, spin the wheel, and see how well you know the Constitution! At this interactive trivia game, players can test their knowledge on topics ranging from Constitutional articles and amendments, Supreme Court cases, famous figures from history, civic holiday connections, and more.
Hands-on History Artifact Carts
Join a National Constitution Center team member and get a hands-on look at artifacts in our teaching collection. 3D-printed replicas of 18th Century objects found on the site of the NCC help visitors explore what life was like in 1787, and by examining historic voting machines visitors will learn about the role “We the People” have played in our electoral process.
Artifact Spotlights
These informal in-gallery talks highlight the history and significance of objects on display throughout the National Constitution Center exhibits, featuring artifacts including the Emancipation Proclamation in Civil War and Reconstruction, the Declaration of Sentiments in The 19th Amendment: How Women Won the Vote, and the March on Washington Pennant in the First Amendment gallery.

Fun with Flags Challenge
Find your inner vexillologist at this fast-paced activity and explore the stories of the 56 state and territorial flags along the National Constitution Center’s Grand Hall Overlook.

Political Cartoons Workshop
Did you know political cartoons have been a popular form of expression for hundreds of years? In this program, a team member shares the history of the art form, including how the First Amendment has protected cartoonists’ freedom of expression.
Civic Holiday Programs
From Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January to Bill of Rights Day in December, the NCC celebrates civic holidays all year long and visitors to the museum on these days have the opportunity to participate in related programs and events.
