This interactive program is designed to support Michigan educators in developing strategies to practice constitutional thinking skills and foster meaningful civil dialogue in their classrooms. Throughout the session, participants will engage with primary source documents to examine how constitutional questions can be used to explore complex and often contentious issues in American civic life. Educators will collaborate with peers, explore classroom-ready instructional strategies, and consider approaches for helping students engage thoughtfully with diverse perspectives.
