Annie Stone is the vice president of communications at the National Constitution Center. In this capacity, she oversees marketing, public relations, digital media, and groups sales. She develops marketing strategies, coordinates media coverage of all programs and initiatives at the Center, and manages all other external communications.
Prior to joining the National Constitution Center in 2017, she served in several roles at the Supreme Court of the United States, most recently as a specialist in the Court’s public information office. In supporting the work of the Court and the justices, she acted as a press liaison, working closely with the Supreme Court press corps and other journalists, coordinated communications plans for internal and external events involving the justices, managed all filming and photography at the Court, and oversaw external communications including the Court’s website.
Stone began her career in the press and public diplomacy section of the Delegation of the European Union to the United States, the EU’s official representation in Washington, D.C., and as an intern at the public relations and events firm, Hayes Group, LLC in McLean, Virginia. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.
She resides in Devon, PA, with her husband Chris.
