Annie Stone is vice president of communications at the National Constitution Center, where she leads the institution’s communications strategy, including executive communications, media relations, institutional messaging, reputation management, and internal communications. She serves as a senior adviser on the Center’s public voice, working closely with executive leadership to advance its nonpartisan mission and national profile.
Since joining the Center in 2017, Stone has played a central role in shaping the institution’s communications and audience engagement strategy. For seven years, she led the Center’s integrated marketing and communications department, overseeing marketing, public relations, digital media, design, and group sales during a period of significant institutional growth.
Prior to joining the National Constitution Center, Stone served in several roles at the Supreme Court of the United States, most recently as a specialist in the Court’s Public Information Office. In supporting the work of the Court and the justices, she served as a press liaison, working closely with the Supreme Court press corps and other journalists; coordinated communications for internal and external events involving the justices; managed all filming and photography at the Court; and oversaw external communications, including the Court’s website.
Stone began her career in the Press and Public Diplomacy Section of the Delegation of the European Union to the United States, the EU’s official representation in Washington, D.C., and as an intern at Hayes Group, LLC, a public relations and events firm in McLean, Virginia. She holds a BA in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.
She resides in Wayne, Pennsylvania, with her husband and two kids.
