Sheldon M. Stone is a founding member of Oaktree Capital Management LP, an institutional money manager specializing in alternative investment strategies based in Los Angeles. He serves on the board of trustees of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles and the Board of Overseers at Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College, with a major in Government, and serves on its Investment Committee. Mr. Stone earned an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia Business School, where he serves as an adjunct professor.
