It’s been nearly 50 years since Roe. V. Wade recognized the constitutional right to an abortion. Now, the Court has agreed to hear a case, Hobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, about a Mississippi law banning most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy, an opportunity for the justices to weigh in on the contentious issue of revisiting Roe.
