FOURTEEN: A Theatrical Performance

FOURTEEN was a moving theatrical performance that shed light on the Reconstruction era and the ratification of the 14th Amendment. Through dramatic interpretation of original texts, the 35-minute performance brought to life the leaders, influential figures, and everyday Americans who were central to the Reconstruction era.

While performances have concluded, recorded excerpts are available for classroom use. These short video clips are great to use as discussion starters when introducing topics connected to the 14th Amendment and the Reconstruction era.
