As the nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, it is an exciting time to help students rediscover our nation's founding texts and principles that continue to shape our story. To support Arizona educators in preparing to teach and celebrate our nation’s semiquincentennial in the classroom, the National Constitution Center, in partnership with the Center for American Civics, is excited to offer a free two-day professional learning session in Chandler, Arizona.
There will be an opening night dinner provided on October 10, along with breakfast and lunch on October 11. A stipend will be available to offset the cost of travel, and school districts can submit for a substitute stipend, if necessary. You can inquire about these offerings via the registration form.
