- David Kopel is research director at the Independence Institute, associate policy analyst with the Cato Institute, and adjunct professor of Advanced Constitutional Law at Denver University, Sturm College of Law. He is the author of The Truth about Gun Control, No More Wacos: What’s Wrong with Federal Law Enforcement, and How to Fix It, Antitrust After Microsoft, The Samurai, the Mountie, and the Cowboy: Should America Adopt the Gun Controls of Other Democracies?, and thirteen other books. He is a regular panelist on Colorado Public Television’s “Colorado Inside Out”, and a columnist for the Washington Post on the Post’s Volokh Conspiracy law blog.
- Paul Smith is vice president, litigation and strategy for the Campaign Legal Center. He has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court 21 times, including in important cases advancing civil liberties and voting rights. In addition to Paul’s work at CLC, he teaches as a Distinguished Visitor from Practice at Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member and former chair of the National Board of Directors of the American Constitution Society and former board member and a member of the Board of Trustees of Amherst College.
- Jeffrey Rosen is the president and CEO of the National Constitution Center, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization devoted to educating the public about the U.S. Constitution. Rosen is also professor of law at The George Washington University Law School and a contributing editor of The Atlantic.
