Scholar Exchange: The Bill of Rights with Linda Monk

In this Fun Friday session, award-winning author and constitutional scholar Linda R. Monk joins Center President and CEO Jeffrey Rosen to examine the Bill of Rights and answer audience questions.

Monk is the author of The Bill of Rights: A User’s Guide, which explores the remarkable history of the first 10 amendments to the Constitution. Students will learn about the process by which the Bill of Rights was discussed, debated, and ratified, as well as its rights, its protections and limitations on government, and how the document affects them today.
