Geoffrey C. Ward: Revisiting the Roosevelts

Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.

Admission: Free (includes a book sale)

Screenwriter and historian Geoffrey C. Ward paints an extraordinarily vivid portrait of one of America’s greatest political dynasties as represented by three extraordinary individuals—Theodore, Eleanor, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt—and their lasting impact on our nation. Written as an accompaniment to the PBS documentary of the same name premiering in fall of 2014, The Roosevelts: An Intimate History (written with Ward’s frequent collaborator filmmaker Ken Burns), provides an engaging look at America during the first half of the 20th century and one family’s strong commitment to a life of public service.

A special book signing opportunity with Geoffrey Ward will follow the program.
