Event Admission: FREE with museum admission

This Flag Day, visitors to the National Constitution Center can participate in a Flag Etiquette Workshop and Flag Raising Ceremony. 

Guests will discover the history and symbolism behind the American Flag and learn how to treat it with reverence and respect.  Visitors also can learn about Francis Scott Key, the Battle of Fort McHenry, and the flag that inspired America’s National Anthem during the interactive “Star Spangled Banner Show.” 

From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., visitors can create their own crepe paper flags and stars-and-stripes pinwheels.
