Ari Berman: The Fight (and Right) to Vote

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, hear from Ari Berman, political correspondent for The Nation, as he brings new insight to one of the most vital political and civil rights issues of our time: the continuing battle over the right to vote. Michael J. Gerhardt, professor of constitutional law at the University of North Carolina School of Law and the National Constitution Center’s scholar-in-residence, moderates. A special book sale and signing of Berman’s latest book, Give Us the Ballot: The Modern Struggle for Voting Rights in America, will follow the program.
