Smart conversation from the National Constitution Center

Welcome to your Election HQ!

April 24, 2012 by NCC Staff

As voters in Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, Rhode Island, and Connecticut go to the polls for today's primaries, the National Constitution Center is premiering a full ticket of onsite and online programming to inspire citizens of all ages to understand and participate in the voting process.

Today, you can come to the National Constitution Center--whatever your party affiliation--to join your fellow citizens for Primary Palooza!, where you can track the primary results and celebrate our freedom to vote (and get free general admission and discounted admission the Bruce Springsteen exhibition).

Plus, be the first to explore the Center's new Election 2012 exhibits and programs:

Election HQ

With the festive look and feel of a political rally, Election HQ is your first stop to get informed on the candidates, featuring news updates, campaign commercials, gumball polls, voter registration, and more.

Election Central

This new exhibit features interactive voting booths that will match you with the presidential candidate who shares your views on the issues.

Address America: Your Six-Word Stump Speech

Step up to iPad stations in the main exhibition to share your election priorities--in six words! Or, visit Address America online to submit and remix stump speeches. Presented in partnership with SMITH Magazine, home of the Six-Word Memoir® project, Address America will also hit the road, traveling to the party conventions and the presidential and vice presidential debates.

The History of Elections

Learn about past presidential elections through trivia games, interactive presentations, political cartoons, and one-of-a-kind artifacts featured in the main exhibition.

We hope to see you at the Center for this celebration, and that you will turn out to vote this election year!
