National Constitution Center president Jeffrey Rosen recently spoke with “super lawyer” David Boies about the arguments that were before the Supreme Court in its recent pair of same-sex marriage decisions.
Rosen and Boies were at an event sponsored by the Aspen Institute on Sunday.
Boies was one of the attorneys involved in Hollingsworth v. Perry, the case about California’s Proposition 8 law that barred same-sex marriage in the state. Boies argued the case along with co-counsel Ted Olson, his former opponent in the case of Bush v. Gore, for the plaintiffs.
