Delve into a specific constitutional topic during your visit. The Center offers a variety of innovative, hands-on experiences tailored to students in different grade levels. Our themed packages are aligned with national and state standards and make use of the Center’s unique historical and educational resources. Themed packages last two to three hours and include access to our main exhibition—and much more!
Experience our exhibitions and artifacts up-close on a tour with our expert guides. Get an in-depth look at the main exhibition on the We the People Tour; learn about the winning strategies of America’s presidents on the Leadership Tour; or explore Historic Philadelphia on a high-energy scavenger hunt.
The Center’s must-see feature exhibitions offer fresh, in-depth perspectives on the extraordinary story of “We the People.” Your group will enjoy innovative, interactive displays and come away inspired by the Constitution and its legacy of freedom.
Presented by our education staff, these engaging programs come free with admission. Programs include Hail to the Chief, a game-show-inspired presidential trivia competition; Political Cartoons 101, a humorous journey through the history of political cartoons; and gallery talks, which offer an overview what your group will see and learn in the exhibitions.
School groups will receive copies of our Student Guide, The Path to Responsible Citizenship, which provides an engaging way for students to experience the main exhibition. Guides are available for elementary, middle, and high school students.
Today’s headlines are brought to life in a dynamic performance incorporating video, contemporary music, and current news broadcasts. Featuring three engaging actors who play multiple roles, Living News introduces controversial constitutional issues and encourages audience members to explore their own points of view during a post-show discussion.
A self-guided iPod audio tour is a great complement to your group’s visit. Famous scholars, a former president, and voices from history give your group special insight into the history and relevance of the U.S. Constitution.
