Walking Tours
All- Ages: Historic City Walking Tour
Duration: 1 hour (approx.)
Requirements: 20 people (min.) - 40 people (max.)
This guided tour begins in Signers’ Hall with a museum educator. Your group will explore the Historic District and learn about the major moments that established our nation. The walking tour includes stories about Christ Church, Benjamin Franklin’s grave site and historic sites on Independence Mall.

Adults Only: We the People Tour
Requirements: 20 people (min.) - 40 people (max.)
Explore our main exhibition, The Story of We the People, or one of the temporary exhibits with a Public Programs staff member for a behind-the-scenes look at the artifacts and interactives.

Audio Tours
The Center comes to life through self-guided audio tours. Experience the sights and sounds of the past as you are guided through the exhibits. Listen to a former president, famous authors, and voices of the past.

SIGNERS' HALL TOUR
By taking an audio tour through Signers’ Hall, your group will be transported back in time to September 17, 1787, to relive the moment when the delegates signed the Constitution. Actors playing the men who helped write the framework of our government tell your students the story of its creation. Learn about the delegates and what life was like in Philadelphia in 1787. This audio tour, which includes a special introduction by President George H.W. Bush, offers an exciting way to explore our past and to encounter the issues that still challenge us today.
MISSION: THE OVAL OFFICE TOUR
Grades 3-8
Take a fun-filled trip through the main exhibit with Kathy O’Connell from WXPN’s popular radio program Kids Corner and explore presidential history. Learn more about the office and those who have occupied it. This interactive tour keeps your class on its toes as they hunt for the next president in the exhibition to complete their mission.
