Two weeks before the 2008 election, influential author Naomi Wolf joins the National Constitution Center to discuss her timely new book, Give Me Liberty: A Handbook for American Revolutionaries, on utilizing personal freedom and democracy.  In her previous book, The End of America, Wolf questioned the direction in which America was headed and proposed a return to the aspirations and beliefs of the Founding Fathers.  Now, in Give Me Liberty, she provides a handbook outlining how people can actively incorporate these values into their lives.  Wolf believes that, when ordinary citizens engage in the democratic system as the Founding Fathers intended, they can create change in their lives and communities, and ultimately help to solve America’s political problems.  Monica Yant Kinney, an award-winning metro columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, moderates.

Naomi Wolf is a prominent author, social critic and political commentator.  She is cofounder of both the Woodhull Institute for Ethical Leadership and The American Freedom Campaign.  Her first book, The Beauty Myth, was released to wide acclaim and became an international bestseller.  Wolf is also the author of Fire With Fire, Promiscuities, and The End of America: A Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot.  In addition, she has written pieces for The New Republic, The Wall Street Journal, Glamour, The New York Times and The Huffington Post.  A graduate of Yale and a former Rhodes Scholar, Wolf currently resides in New York City.

Monica Yant Kinney is an award-winning metro columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer recently named "Best of Philly" for her hard-hitting pieces on local politics. In 12 years at the newspaper, she has covered suburban trends, Philadelphia City Hall, welfare reform, crime and corruption. Before joining the Inquirer, Kinney was a reporter and television critic at the St. Petersburg Times in Florida. She is a 1993 graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
