Sarah Robbins is the Senior Producer for Planning on the BBC's flagship evening news program in the U.S., BBC World News America. Robbins joined the BBC in 2001, working first as a producer in the Los Angeles bureau, and, since 2004, in Washington D.C. Working both inside the bureau and from the field, she has covered stories as varied as political campaigns, Hurricane Katrina and various assignments in Latin America. Prior to joining the BBC, Robbins worked at WTN, ABC NewsOne, and KTTV in Los Angeles. She earned her B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University, and her MA in Latin American Studies from UCLA.
