Perry Dane is professor of law at Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, and has written landmark articles on choice law, religion and law, the jurisprudence of Jewish law, legal pluralism, and jurisdiction. Dane joined the Rutgers faculty from the Yale Law School faculty; he has also taught at the University of Toronto and Rutgers-New Brunswick. He clerked for Judge David Bazelon of the U.S. Court of Appeals and Justice William Brennan of the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School, where he was note editor of the law journal.
