Why we do what we do

Why we do what we do

Gregg Hierholzer

2000-2009

I was asked by the 189th CSB to paint a mural depicting what we do in Iraq. So I put together a semi collage of what brought us (US FORCES) to Iraq (the 9/11 incidents) then orders from the pentagon to help support the war on "global" terrorism (earth seen behind the pentagon, then all of the equipment that our unit used to support the mission in Al Taji, Iraq. Mural was finished September 11, 2006.
