Join us for any of our exciting tours. The Center offers museum and audio tours to groups and individuals.

Museum Tours

Experience the amazing museum tours the Center has to offer, including main exhibitions, traveling exhibitions, scavenger hunts, and more.

We the People Tour

Requirements: 40 people (max.)
Explore our main exhibition, The Story of We the People, or one of the temporary exhibits with a Public Programs staff member for a behind-the-scenes look at the artifacts and interactives.
Adult: $300 per group Student/Youth: $14 per person

Feature Exhibition Tour

Requirements: 25 people (max.)
Explore the traveling exhibition with a Public Programs demonstrator for a detailed look at the artifacts and interactives.
Adult: $300 per group Student/Youth: $14 per person

Leadership Tour

Requirements: 40 people (max.)
Explore our main exhibition, The Story of We the People, with a Public Programs demonstrator for an in-depth look at the leadership styles and winning strategies of some historic Americans.
Adult: $300 per group

Decoding the Document: Emancipation Proclamation Workshop

Take a closer look at the Center's rare printing of the Emancipation Proclamation to learn more about its history, the history of the Civil War, and the background of the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments.
Adult: $250 per group (plus general admission) Student/Youth: $14 per person

History Detectives Workshop: Artifacts from the 1800s and 1900s

Grades K-3, 4-8, 9-12
Explore amazing objects from the past and learn about life in America during the 1800s and 1900s. Students use objects and documents as primary sources to explore the past and become history detectives. Workshops are customized to meet your students' needs and interests and to teach across the curriculum.
Student/Youth: $14 per person

National Constitution Center Scavenger Hunt

This museum scavenger hunt allows your groupto work together in a knowledge-based game to find clues and specific items, and to perform tasks and challenges throughout the building. The goal is either to complete as many tasks on the list as possible before the clock runs out, or complete the tasks in the most creative manner.
Adult: $250 per group (plus general admission)

Historic Philadelphia Scavenger Hunt

Your mission in this scavenger hunt is to travel around Historic Philadelphia with your teammates to complete a series of challenges. Each clue will lead you to a different historic site. To win this city search, your team will have to work together, using their knowledge, map skills and clever thinking.
$500 per group(plus general admission)

Audio Tours

The Center comes to life through self-guided audio tours. Experience the sights and sounds of the past as you are guided through the exhibits. Listen to a former president, famous authors, and voices of the past.

Signers' Hall Tour

By taking an audio tour through Signers' Hall, your group will be transported back in time to September 17, 1787, to relive the moment when the Constitution was signed. The delegates come to life as actors tell your students about the Constitutional Convention and what life was like in the Summer of 1787. This audio tour, which includes a special introduction by President George H.W. Bush, offers an exciting way to explore our past and encounter the issues still challenging us today.

We the People Tour

Experience the main exhibition through the eyes of historians and curators. Learn more about our artifacts and hear the fascinating stories they tell about the struggles and triumphs of Americans who comprise the story of We, the People.

Feature Exhibition Tour

Guests can learn about the behind-the-scenes planning, artifacts and themes of our featured exhibitions.

Mission: The Oval Office Tour

Grades 5-8
This interactive audio tour of the main exhibition is designed for 5th to 8th graders. During the tour, students are guided by an avatar with the voice of WXPN's Kids' Corner host, Kathy O'Connell, and using their iPods as a secret agent's gadget, they use the Center's theatrical performances, text panels, artifacts and interactives to discover interesting facts about the presidency. The tour combines the fun and adventure of a scavenger hunt with a richer educational experience. WIth every part of the mission solved, students gain more knowledge of the history of the presidency.
