National Hispanic Heritage Month
The first Hispanic Heritage Week was approved on September 15, 1968; the celebration was expanded to one month in 1988. Join us as we pay homage to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have influenced and enriched our nation. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Center will present a variety of programs highlighting Hispanic Americans including Cesar Chavez and Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Plus, we’ll offer free admission on October 6, 2013, courtesy of PwC.
